The Library

Vidya Valley School holds this sage observation to be a fundamental truth. Hence, the eminent architect Mr. Viswas Rao designed the main library to be a of crown jewel of Vidya Valley School. It is situated in two floors of the building and

To meet varied tastes for reading in all children, we add books of all types – fiction and non-fiction – throughout the year. Our ever-growing library has over 23,000 books in English, Marathi, and Hindi. It includes professional and general books for our teachers. Over the years, we have added subsidiary libraries in other parts of the school for the convenience of teachers and students.

Vidya Valley uses an advanced ERP software system that includes comprehensive library management facilities.

We have an annual Literary Festival to enhance interest in reading and writing We invite authors to talk about their books and their love of reading and writing. We include writing workshops, quizzes and story-telling sessions for the pleasure of our students.

Since almost every child reads all Harry Potter books in our library, we hope they heed Hermione Granger: “So I went to the library,” she says for the hundredth time. “Because that’s what Hermione does,” Ron tells Harry.
