VVS encourages stage performance from a young age. The teachers adapt stories such as Ali Baba into productions with music and dance.
Dance
Our teachers teach Kathak, Bharat Natyam, and other dance forms.
Tabla
Our tabla teacher develops students from Class 3 onward to perform in public in groups as large as forty children.
Indian Vocal
We train our children to sing from Class 1 onward. They sing well-known popular compositions at various school functions
Instrumental music
We teach Guitar and keyboard (synthesizer) to children from class 6 onwards.
Percussion
Many children from class 7 onward learn the drums. Some of them are members of our school band
Choir
Choir singing is a tradition in Vidya Valley. Children of different age groups are trained to develop an interest and skill in choral singing. Our school choirs participate in festivals at different schools in Pune
