Cherishing Childhood: Vidya Valley’s Day of Delight

“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow,” – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru

Children’s Day is an important celebration that reminds us of the importance of children and their well-being. It is celebrated to promote, protect, and celebrate the rights of children. The day provides an opportunity to celebrate the joy, innocence, and exuberance of childhood.

Vidya Valley School embodies this august vision in spirit and endeavours to practice it every moment.

Every year, the school celebrates Children’s Day in the loving memory of Pt Nehru. During the children’s day celebration this year, the students were greeted on the chilly morning of 14 November with a surprise party, where balloons were hung across the walls and the air was filled with iconic songs.

The children were warmly greeted and welcomed with delicious cake, classes were decorated with elegant drawings and were gifted some of the most beautiful handmade cards from their teachers which lit up every child’s face.

This enthusiasm and infectious energy of excitement surprisingly led to an impromptu dance party wherein both the students and the teachers let go and just enjoyed pure joy and camaraderie.

This special and memorable morning filled the hallways of the school with the sound of innocent laughter, the darkest corners with light and hundreds of hearts with happiness.
