Journey to Student Council Membership:

My dream of becoming Vice captain of Puma was born even before I was selected into the house. My elder brother was part of this house, and thus I knew quite a few seniors. I also saw and admired how the prefects had the power to influence and bring about a positive impact on such a large number of people, if they chose to. That was the reason I wanted to become a part of the student council.

As I entered secondary school, I started representing the school in various sports, and because of this I got in touch with a variety of people. Over these years, I maintained these connections and built new ones, and I am glad that I did. During election week, I truly understood, how important building long term connections and gaining trust gradually was. And I am looking forward to contributing towards the school in any possible manner.

Leadership Goals:

  • Making sure achievements and talent in all fields (even apart from sports), are recognized and appreciated, so that more people are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular events.
  • Ensuring discipline and good conduct, not only by enforcement but through leading by example.
