I am Ira Daswani, a 15 year old studying in class 10. I have been elected as the Sports Prefect of Vidya Valley for the year 2024- 25.

I enjoy athletics and badminton- and have represented my school at various zonal and regional competitions. I have won a silver and bronze medal in the 400m run and several golds in the 4*100 m relay and 4*400 m relay.

Art holds a special place in my heart and I have a deep passion for it. It helps me rejuvenate and destress. I also have an interest in reading fiction. I am fascinated by the world of entrepreneurship and am eager to learn about starting and running my own business. I find immense happiness in being around my friends, sharing experiences and creating unforgettable memories.

Serving as the vice-captain of Puma last year was a valuable experience that taught me a lot about leadership, teamwork and responsibility.

My goal as a sports prefect is to foster a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels encouraged to participate in sports, develop their skills, and enjoy the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle.

Looking to the future I have set ambitious goals for Vidya Valley and look forward to having a great year ahead.
