Introduction:
I am Anika Ruikar from class 9, studying at Vidya Valley school and currently on the student council for the term 2024-2025.
Being at Vidya Valley for the past nine years has taught me empathy, and the value of community. Through engaging in various extracurricular activities, collaborating with peers and mentors, and participating in community service projects, I have developed a deeper understanding of leadership and teamwork that is necessary and plays a huge role in every persons life.
Achievements:
Sports: I have represented my school in various sporting activities.
I have been in the CICSE National Tennis team, earning a gold medal in the U-14 girls category for Maharashtra.
I have been a part of the school’s athletics team, winning numerous tournaments across different categories over the past five years.
Clubs: Member of the school band
Programs: I participated in the Germany-India exchange program in January 2024, an enriching experience that broadened my perspectives on global cultures.
Hobbies/Interests:
I am an avid reader and music enthusiast.
I am Currently pursuing my Grade 7 examination with the London College of Music in Piano.
I have a passion for exploring different cultures through travel.
As a sportswoman, I actively follow various world sporting events and love to watch tennis, football and F1.
Future Aspirations:
As a student, my aim is to excel academically while actively contributing to the school community.
My goal is to further develop my skills and knowledge, preparing myself for higher education and a fulfilling career. I am enthusiastic about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to contributing positively to my school community.
I aspire to become a leader who can contribute to the progress of my country, inspiring positive change and making a meaningful impact on our nation’s development and its people.
Aspirations for the school:
As a member of the student council, my goal is to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment at Vidya Valley, where every student feels valued and empowered to achieve their full potential.
I aim to not only communicate effectively but also to initiate positive changes that enhance our school community. Working collaboratively with fellow council members and school administrators, I want to make meaningful contributions that promote academic and social growth.
