The medium of instruction
English is the medium of instruction. We introduce Hindi and Marathi from Std. I, and French from Std. VI.
CISCE
Vidya Valley is proud to belong to the family of schools affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
The Council’s vision is to serve the nation’s children, “through high-quality educational endeavors, empowering them to contribute towards a humane, just and pluralistic society, promoting introspective living, by creating exciting learning opportunities, with a commitment to excellence”. CISCE advocates each child’s holistic development and not only his/her attainment/ achievement in academic subjects. Its approach towards Assessment and Evaluation is Child-centred and extends beyond conventional knowledge/ information based questions. We fully subscribe to the Council’s philosophy.
Our students sit for ICSE Examinations in Grade X. Our first batch passed in 2006.
