Last week, Vidya Valley School had the honor of hosting the prestigious CISCE Taekwondo Zonal event. The event saw participation from over 30 schools, with fierce competition and outstanding displays of skill and sportsmanship.
The day was a thrilling experience for all involved, with matches running from early morning until late in the evening. The energy and excitement in the air were palpable as athletes showcased their dedication and discipline in the martial art of Taekwondo.
Vidya Valley emerged as the undisputed champion, securing an impressive haul of medals. Our athletes won 12 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals, placing Vidya Valley at the top across all age groups. This achievement was a testament to the hard work and perseverance of our students and the excellent coaching they received.
Vidya Pratishthan, Wadgaon, also performed admirably, taking home 5 golds, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals, securing the second position overall.
The event was meticulously organized, and every detail was handled with precision, ensuring a smooth and successful day. We owe a debt of gratitude to Arvind Sir and the dedicated Taekwondo team for their unwavering support and guidance. Their efforts not only made this event possible but also helped our students achieve greatness.
