Good morning to one and all present here, my name is Arhaan Bhalerao and I stand here before you to discuss the reason why I want to be cheetahs vice-captain for this year. I realize that it’s a privilege to have the honor but I am confident that I will be a suitable candidate. I promise to work hard to be the effective leader that cheetahites will be proud of. I will try to uphold and obey all the rules.
I will assist my fellow cheetahites in any way possible to the best of my abilities. I strongly believe that I’m a good listener and trustworthy person and I also believe that all these qualities are very important in everyone’s life.
Firstly, I would like to start by explaining to you what this position means to me. The vice-captain should understand the students and their capabilities. I have this quality and can be suitable for the position.
Secondly, a good leader always listens to others and they never judge who that person is and what they do. Leaders don’t just bark orders or boss people around. They listen to their team, their peers, and their competitors because they know it is the best way to understand a situation so they can make the best decision possible.
Thirdly, I believe I am a trustworthy candidate as I’m generally a good public speaker. I am well-organized and I like to do tasks that I am given quickly. I treat everyone equally and try my best to include everyone in all activities. I enjoy helping others. I like to try my best at anything and everything I do. I’m polite and respectful both to teachers and students.
To me the role of vice-captain is more than a badge, popularity, or a fancy title but a chance to make a positive influence in my time, I believe I have all these qualities, and if not I am more than willing to learn them in the process. I promise to dedicate myself to serving the house and especially you, my fellow cheetahites. So please vote for me and show your trust in me and I promise I won’t let you down.
