Mt. Yunam peak (6111 mtrs) lies next to the Leh Manali highway with the base camp at Bharatpur at an altitude of 4700 meter. There are two camps on the way to the summit.
Camp 1 (5160 meter)
Camp 2 (5480 meter)
It takes roughly 5 days to ascend the peak. For the summit attempt, the team were divided in 2 groups.
Group 1 summited the peak on 11th August at 10:30 am from camp 1. They started their summit attempt at 2.15 am.
Group 2 summited the peak on 12th August at 9.30 am from camp 2. They started their summit attempt at 3.15 am.
