At the Amusement Park with Uncle Ken (I am writing as Ruskin.)
On a Sunday morning we decided to go to an amusement park. Granny prepared some sandwiches for us to take along to the park. Then everyone hopped into the car with Uncle Ken driving it, Grandfather sitting beside him on the front seat while me, Granny and Aunt Ruby sitting on the back seats. After reaching the amusement park we first got the tickets for the roller coaster ride. Granny and Grandfather decided to sit in the giant wheel while I, Uncle Ken and Aunt Ruby sat on the roller coaster. Initially I was scared and reluctant but Uncle Ken prodded me on to the ride. It was thirty seconds of panic before the ride begun. As the ride started I felt like on top of the world with wind rushing through my hair and blood pumping in my veins. I was feeling nauseous and dizzy with a scream escaping from the depth of my soul. A scream of excitement, exhilaration, fear and pure heaven. My hat blew of my head on to Aunt Ruby’s face who was sitting behind me. She was startled and a gave a loud scream. At the end of the ride Uncle Ken remarked, “Life is like a roller coaster. It has ups and downs. But it is your choice to scream or enjoy the ride”. We did many more thrilling and exciting rides afterwards. I even went in the haunted house with Uncle Ken. It was late afternoon when we returned back. It was truly a memorable and funny day at the amusement park.
