What is leadership? Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality. And the person who can carry out this leadership successfully is a leader.
So, good morning one and all present here, I am Aaryaman Hatkar and I am running, sprinting, and doing absolutely everything I can to become the Sher House vice-captain. Firstly, I’d like to thank all the teachers and principal ma’am for nominating me for this precious post. Before telling you all why you should vote for me, I’d like to tell you all a little more about myself. As many of you already know, I am Aaryaman Hatkar and I look forward to being the Sher House vice-captain. I like to play football and have represented our school in many football tournaments. I have also practiced tabla under Rahul sir’s guidance for 2 years and now I am also learning how to play the guitar. I have also participated in interschool singing competitions.
I’ll keep my speech short and quick because I am pretty sure you all want to get out of here as soon as possible. So, just hear me out
As all of us have heard, the “First rule of leadership:everything is your fault.” Well… part of that is true. A leader takes full responsibility of his fellow teammates and you can expect the same from me.
Now why should you all vote for me? Like John Quincy Adams once said, the goal of a leader is to teach and inspire their team to excel through their actions. Together, we can achieve something like never before. If you vote for me as Sher House Vice-Captain, I will bring out the true potential in all my fellow sherites and I also promise to always take your opinions into consideration before making any decisions because you should have a say in the actions that affect you. You matter, your opinion matters. Don’t choose someone who will make all the decisions for you. Choose someone who wants to be your spokesperson. Choose someone who cares about what you want.
